Within two minutes, all workshop participants note as many terms as they can on a piece of paper. They are placed on the table, covered. The first participant randomly selects two pieces paper and creates a term or a sentence from the terms. Participants describe the term or sentence in great detail and discuss its relevance to the topic.
An umbrella topic must be defined before the workshop participants start writing down the terms. Random terms make it difficult to create a topic-related sentence. Check to ensure that the terms do not come up repeatedly before they are turned over.
This exercise can be conducted indoors or outdoors.
