The Gesellschaft für Pädagogik, Information und Medien e. V. (GPI) has awarded the Comenius-EduMedia Seal 2026 to the rcc online platform “relax – concentrate – create”. Following 2018, 2021 and 2024, this is the fourth distinction for the platform developed by Prof. Michael Doerk.

The award recognises rcc.hslu.ch — the intelligent learning management system for sustainable resource management, prevention and health promotion, in use in teaching, research and occupational health management.

The distinction goes to the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Social Work as the submitting institution, to OAK innovation GmbH, Lucerne, and to FKC Schweiz AG, Basel.

The official award ceremony and the presentation of the certificate are still to come. We will extend this article as soon as the certificate and further details are available.

On 11 June 2024, the Comenius-EduMedia Awards were presented in Berlin. This was the 29th time that the Gesellschaft für Pädagogik, Information und Medien e. V. (GPI) has honoured outstanding digital educational media for work, training, school, culture and leisure.

The GPI awarded the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, OAK innovation GmbH, Lucerne and FKC Schweiz AG, Basel the Comenius Seal and a certificate for the online platform ‘relax – concentrate – create’ developed by Prof. Michael Doerk.

After 2018 and 2021, the online platform was honoured for the third time in 2024 and explicitly for the excellent further development and its possibility to use an AI-based coaching assistance for resource management, prevention and health promotion that is largely data protected.

Prof. Michael Doerk accepted the award online in the form of a seal and a certificate on behalf of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, OAK innovation GmbH, Lucerne and FKC Schweiz AG, Basel for the online platform he developed, ‘relax – concentrate – create’. After 2018, the online platform was again honoured in 2021 explicitly for its outstanding further development and the possibility of using the platform as a tool in the field of social science research.

The Comenius EduMedia Seal 2018 was also awarded to FKC Schweiz AG, Basel, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and OAK innovation GmbH.
