The indicator used here is based on the Maslach test. It is a very well evaluated and recognised burnout test (developed in 1981 by Christina Maslach and Susan E. Jackson, revised in 1986). If answered seriously, the result reflects the current state of a possible burnout process on the following three dimensions:
- Emotional exhaustion / stress (9 questions)
- Depersonalisation / personality (5 questions)
- Reduced personal performance / performance assessment (8 questions)
A clear determination of the individual degree of burnout is not reliably possible with this test alone and without a differentiated medical history. However, if you fill it out seriously, it will give you important clues as to how you are feeling and important thought-provoking impulses that you should incorporate into your further analysis.
